The Big Clean

Tammy Heydon and Amy Nassisi co-captained an amazing crew of hardworking volunteers  to disinfect the Lills’ house from top to bottom, switch two boys’ rooms, move furniture, etc. — all to ensure Ewan has as germ-free and comfy of a setup as possible to come home to from the hospital.

Thanks to all the dozen plus helpers; their spouses, moms, and kids who showed up as well to lend a hand; and those who dropped off cleaning supplies, coffee, doughnuts, and bagels! Thanks also to Blair, David and Sophia for contributing their Sunday to a  chicken coop cleaning.

My favorite quote of the day came from Kate, as she was packing old toys into a box to be put in the attic, “This reminds me of a movie.”
